Activities and experiences

Säfsen offers a wide range of activities, experiences and outdoor life, on your own or with Säfsen guides. We have canoes, boats, long-distance footpaths, fishing lakes, cycles, MTB with trails, minigolf, cycle inspection trolleys on the inland track, overnight stays in wind shelters, wilderness play park.

Raft or large canoe trip
Leader-led trips on Lake Säfssjön by raft or large canoe. We play forest rounders, make a fire and have a coffee before we make our way back again. Also suitable as an evening activity.
Climbing, bow and arrow, blowpipes indoors
Try some unusual and exciting activities such as the climbing wall, bow and arrow or a blowpipe under the guidance of two instructors. The climbing wall and bow and arrow are found by the central facility Hyttan. Ropes and harnesses are included. Wear trainers. Minigolf and Frisbee golf are available as side activities.

Half a day in the wilderness
A day that combines pleasure and work. We go out into the wilderness and learn how to make a fire, cook, handle an axe and a knife, and what we need to think about out in nature.
Hiking round Solberget with a lift ride
Leader-led hikes round Solberget with a lift ride to the top. There we play forest rounders, make a fire and enjoy a coffee before we make our way back again.

Wilderness pentathlon
The team competition takes place at the Wilderness Playground and everyone can take part. We put together different events in which you can compete individually and for each other - everyone to the best of his/her ability.

Expedition "Myrmarken" (bog) A team competition that leaves no one unaffected! You should wear durable clothes and shoes, as everyone will end up more or less wet and muddy. The competition ends with real wilderness ball, which will leave only the most careful clean and dry.

Ghost walks
We meet at dusk and go out into the forest together. We light a fire, enjoy a coffee and tell each other ghost stories while we wait for the dark. In the middle of the night, it's time to find out who is the bravest.

Action at sea on the Säfsen raft
We have put together a number of clever challenges for the group to solve. This is not a competition; the important thing is to solve the problems together.

Riding on Icelandic horses
Enjoy a ride through the terrain with our experienced guides. Our rides are suitable for everyone, whether inexperienced or experienced. Substantial shoes or boots and warm clothes should be worn. Helmets are available to borrow from us. Min 4 persons, max 8 persons. Only with leader. Price: 250 SEK per person. Duration approx 1 hour.
