Angling
One of Sweden's best pike-fishing waters, Lisjön, is 8 km from Säfsen.
Other good pike and perch waters are Hösjön on the way to Gravendal, Lejen and Håensjön on the way to Lindesnäs, Skärsjön in Gravendal and Säfssjön below the holiday village.
Boats are available to hire for Lakes Lisjön and Säfssjön and there are BBQ places, a fishing hut and wind shelter.
The angling waters have pike, perch, roach, burbot and eel, though eel is not plentiful. Daily, weekly and seasonal permits are available to buy at Björnen Sportshop, right by the central facility Hyttan.
