Säfsen Mountain Bike Park - a new downhill area

One of the Säfsen Resort's big  new features over the past year has been the Säfsen Mountain Bike Park. Take the chairlift up and cycle down the beautiful Solberget at a flying speed. With eight new downhill trails, which have also been connected to the existing "cross country trails around the mountain, Säfsen  Mountain Bike Park offers adventure cycling for the whole family." 

The Säfsen Resort, which has been nominated for the Global Trip Award "The Best Experience in Sweden" three years in a row is an attractive destination - all year round. The major investment over the past few years has been in Säfsen Mountain Bike Park with downhill cycling, which is an adventure for both big and small. Take the Solberget ski lift up to the top and find your own way down. There are exciting downhill tracks - from easy green-blue ones to tougher red tracks - and cycling that suits both the beginner and the experienced downhiller. The latest extension in 2010 is the Vargspåret (Wolf Trail), which is an almost three-kilometres long trail built to suit all types of rider.
