Fishing in Säfsen

Säfsen and the surrounding country have 175 lakes, tarns and water courses with fantastic fishing all the year round. There are challenges for experienced anglers and easy fishing for beginners. On your hook you can catch rainbow trout, salmon trout, char, pike and burbot.

There is also disabled-friendly fishing with wheelchair ramps and casting jetties. Fishing permits are available to buy from Säfsen Resort's reception.

All the game fishing waters are restocked with fish about once a week from May to September.
