The Säfsen Resort is not only the part of Sweden's most abounding in game, but also has one of Sweden't biggest natural larders. Using the great valley forests as a source, the Säfsen Resort offers locally hunted elk meat all year round and, in the lakes around the Säfsen Resort, there is first-class fishing. Here, many provisions have been transported just a few miles, which means the finest fresh produce and most tender game meat. The combination of fresh produce from the area and elements of international cuisine means that Hyttan Kök & Bar's provides a menu containing many exciting options. There will, of course, be additional focus on the area's fine game meat and fresh produce, depending on the season. During the autumn and winter, for example, game is often served together with local ingredients such as mushrooms, lingonberry and herbs that elevate the tastes to fantastic heights.
